My First Edited Film-The Homecoming

This is named The Homecoming and we were to create a short film using a genre. The genre we were given was Thriller. In my film I decided to use black and white as I think Film Noir always adds a bit of tension (Psycho is one example) to the production and sometimes a bit of class as well.
This film was about a spy who had a job to do but the job got too personal for him as his girlfriend was involved with it. Although his boss begs him not to leave he ignores the plead. I enjoyed the Editing of the film. Because even though the filming was the same as the rest of the people in the production I got to make all the sequences my own.

Three things I've learnt in Media the past couple of weeks:
1. Media is ambient, it's all around us and we don't even know it half the time!
2. Using the camera and filming is the easy part! it's editing the movie that's the hard part! my hat goes off to all the editors of the great Hollywood films!!!
3. I've made my first film. And I didn't even know I could create someting like this!
